Teaching Methods to speak quickly
what you need first!

French opens doors to discoveries about the history of France and the French people. The Absolutely team teaches it in an innovative way using games  (theatre, board games, role-playing, cards, magnets, etc.), through French culture, treasure hunts in Paris (12 different routes), cookery lessons and real-life situations.
Our method is entirely based on the CEFR, with precise linguistic objectives, following the 5 key points of language learning:

  1. Oral comprehension
  2. Reading comprehension
  3. Written expression
  4. Continuous oral expression
  5. Oral interaction

We have tours of Paris to give you a better understanding of the places that are important for adaptation, cookery classes and game days. You’ll develop your speaking and communication skills quickly with our face-to-face French courses. Our e-learning platform helps you review the day’s vocabulary, reinforce grammar and conjugation, and deepen your reading and writing skills.

Lesson Content to understand
French culture

For each course, you have alternating ‘Cook and Learn’, ‘Play and Learn’ and ‘Stroll and Learn’ days.
For example, for a 150-hour course, you have :

  • 3 ‘Cook and Learn’ days from 10am to 3pm at 15, Rue du Colonel Moll 75017 Paris
  • 11 Stroll and Learn’ days from 10 am to 3 pm, 11 different tours in Paris
  • 16 ‘Play and Learn’ days from 10 am to 3 pm at 4, Rue Faraday 75017 Paris

Each course forms a whole, with a beginning and an end, and a carefully thought-out alternation of days to ensure the best possible learning experience. These days are not available ‘à la carte’, they form a whole to optimise language learning, speaking skills and understanding of the country where you live.

Absolutely French is much more than a school, it’s an integration centre!

There is also also a community of old and new Absolus (Our name for our students) who help each other via an internal social network (Slack) and meet up at Absolutely Soirées.

Download the operational objectives of our courses, depending on the learner’s starting level of French.

These objectives also depend on the amount of time spent on the e-learning platform and the Absolu’s involvement. A motivated learner will achieve these objectives in less time if they are very committed and follow all our recommendations (see Guide for good learners).

For example, a learner with an A1.2 level and 100 hours of training will achieve the A2.1 objectives and almost all of the A2.2 objectives.

Prerequisites for Our courses – French Language programs

Service for Businesses only

We are a B to B service.
We do not offer classes to any individuals.
To take part in one of our training courses, your company (or that of your spouse) must therefore be one of our partners.

We have groups at all levels from beginners (A0/A1.1) to advanced intermediates (B2/C1) which start 3 times a year: in September, January and March. If you arrive during these periods, you will quickly integrate into a group.
Outside these 3 periods, and/or if you are at a level where groups have already started, it may take longer.
We open extra groups (or you join a group that has reached your level).
New group start when we have 5 persons.

We cater for complete beginners (A0) right up to advanced level (B2.2).
To have the best group’s level, we send online test level to all non-beginners.
We then meet each learner individually, during a ‘Cafe Découverte’ at our premises or via zoom.
This allows us to explain the course in more detail and to check your level of spoken French, if necessary.
Once this ‘Café Découverte’ has taken place, your enrolment is validated online and we place you in a group at your level.
